If this laptop is new, it would have 12 moths warranty. I suggest you get it repaired under warranty otherwise you will void your warranty.

Factory reset toshiba A105-S4384

Put Recovery Disk 1 in the CD/DVD drive, then power off your computer, unplug everything from the unit including the AC, remove the battery, press and hold down the power button for 30 seconds, replace the battery and then AC, power on, at the Toshiba logo screen press 'F2' to enter the BIOS Setup, in setup press 'F9' to load setup defaults, press 'F10' to save and exit, now at the Toshiba logo screen press 'F12' to enter 'Boot Sequence', with the up and down arrow keys to select 'Optical Disk Drive' or 'DVD/CD Drive', you will then see 'Press any key to boot from CD/DVD drive...' with the dots counting down, press any key before the count down finishes. Assuming you get back to the Toshiba Recovery Utility menu, select the 'factory default' choice, and return your unit to its out-of-the-box state.

I have a toshiba satellite l655d-s5093 with windows 7 and it shows pxe-mof exiting intel pxe rom... no bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key. any help to restore my computer? Thanks

Try a "Cold-Start",Remove all media, DVD, CD, USB..etc., Remove AC plug, Remove Battery, Hold down on/off button for 10 seconds, Replace battery, Plug into AC outlet,Push on/off button and Start normally.
IF THAT FAILS, try F-8 during pre boot, try to get to safe mode, or F12 to enter restore /recovery. After each try cold start, remove battery during this process.

How to reset hard drive password, toshiba sattlite reset forgotten hard drive password, satelite. L655D S5093

Chris Hingee is absolutely correct. Even if you reset the laptop bios password, you will not be able to reset the hard drive bios password. That old hard drive is your new paper weight after you purchase a new hard drive.
