Can't connect camera to the computer

I have the Sanyo 7.1 megapixel VPC-S770. When I try to connect to the computer to load the pics, it says, "CONNECTING FAIL" and the red light stays on. There is nothing about it in the book. What could it be??

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

You can use a card reader to download the pics and then you can format the card in the camera. This one costs $13 at Walmart and can read 32 different cards.

I need instructions on how to load pics to my Optimus 07A08 digital frame.

On the back of the frame remove the memory card, then You need to use a pc with a Memory card reader, you can get usb card readers that simply plug in your usb, then copy all the pictures you want on the card from pc.

I CAN'T UPLOAD MY PICS WITH THE NEW CAMERA I PURCHASED BECAUSE MY COMPUTER IS NOT RECOGNIZING THE SANYO DISC THAT CAME WITH IT.

If your using the camera with a sd card and you have a sd slot on your computer you will not need a disk. Just insert the sd card to the computer go to start > computer> then click on the sd card and the pictures should be there.
