Question about Kodak EasyShare CX7530 Digital Camera
The camera acts as though the batteries are low but they have just been replaced. The contacts have been cleaned with a cloth. The camera will turn on after it has been on the dock but within a few seconds it cuts off.
Then it is completely dead. It can be placed back on the dock for a while and it comes on, usually will take 1 picture and then goes off again as if
the batteries are dead.
Mine did this until I folded up a small piece of paper to depress and hold the small lithium battery module detect switch inside the battery compartment, then it powered up fine for the first time in two years using NiMH batteries. After removing the paper (lithium detect OFF), it still works. Perhaps that recalibrated the low battery detect circuit?
