A QSC RMX 2450 is very close in design of this amp...since Ari copied it, that schematic is pretty close. :)

Unless you are a qualified audio service technician, you should refer repair of this unit to an authorized Behringer service depot. The capacitors you refer to can store lethal amounts of electrical charge. Also, Behringer service manuals and schematics are notoriously difficult to get.

Check for swollen Capacitors on the power supply. Be careful disconnect the TV. Bad capacitors swell up and they are supposed to be flat on the top. The capacitors store current and when they are bad the current is not stored. They can also be checked with a multi meter. but be careful to short them out after having disconnected the power supply. you can do that with a piece of insulated wire or with a screw driver then removing one leg from the pc board. They measure in uf Microfarads. the bad ones will usually be open. And probably swollen on the top.

My EZ27 fails to power up. Checked fuses - all ok. A capacitor on power supply board looks suspect - is this a common problem?

50 inch lg won't power on

Hi,

The problem could be just a few bad capacitors on the Power Supply, there could be a bad capacitor on the Y board if its bad it needs to be replaced with the buffers together
If you want to attempt the repair yourself you can do a visual of the power board caps will appear swollen on top.
The ones you are looking for are located almost center bottom of the power board,Usually I can see them clearly with the back on simply shining a light into the back through the holes
If otherwise you have to change the whole power supply board Power supply board just die.It can be dead at anytimes.Tries websites Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

I hope this will help in solving the problem...

Power on difficulties.

Hello,

Either the power supply has an issue , or you have a bad buffer board and Ysus scan board or both.red light indicating may mean power supply , 7 blinks the buffers and y board.

With the back removed you will see a few circuit boards the upper one (ac cord runs to it through a small board) is the power supply, it has a lot of capacitors on it (cylindrical standing straight up soldered in and marked on the sides with the positive/negative sides and uf and Volts values)
Philips uses 2200uf or 3300uf at 35Volts rating capacitors, they cost about $1-$2 each

The power board and back unscrew with a torx bit and screwdriver size 10 and 15 , if you do not know how to desolder and resolder then do not attempt this as you may damage the TV more than fix it.
We do not recommend do it yourself, but depending on your knowledge and technical ability you may be able to.
You can replace the whole power supply, .
If there is a blinking red light on the TV count the blinks,if it still blinks after replacing the swollen cap this would indicate a bad buffer board ,
check the capacitors by looking for the swollen tops .
I hope that will helpout.....

Takes to long for it to turn on. Think the switch is going bad.

I believe your problem is going to be defective filter capacitors in power supply. Classic symptom of taking longer and longer to come on. Will get progressively worse over time then wont come on at all. No need to replace the whole power supply board. Most knowledgeable repair shops will replace the swollen capacitors or you can try yourself if you are familiar with electronics.

The defective capacitors will usually swell up out the top making them easy to spot

If the power supply is not wqrking then it is the invertor unit that has dies.
Replace the monitor is the best advice- If it that recent out of warranty may be worth contacting 'viewsonic to see if they will discount you one.
