The answer is the drain hose. It must be routed higher than the machine or water will always drain. There is no actual drain valve.

Hello,

Your water level sensor is likely faulty. Contact your retailer, or Danby directly, for a replacement and instructions on how to do so. Note, if this is in warranty, they may require you to bring it to a service center.

Try adjusting the water lvl going into the washer. Adjust accordingly. If you have a meter, just the resistance of the valves. Unplug of course. It should read about 1.4k ohms ish. Could be higher or lower but roughly that.

Washer will not fill up!

The water is siphoning out as it fills. Your drain hose is too low or has a air block. Remove the drain hose from the drain. Set the washer to fill. Hold the drain hose up higher than the washer. If it fills correctly and starts agitating, correct the drain hose problem.

My danby fills and immediately drains.

Hi, It sounds like the drain hose has dropped lower then the water level in the washer. Check and see if the hose end is as high as the top of the washer.
I hope this helps you.

The water just runs in my roper whirlpool washer and never fills up and wash the clothes

It sounds like the drain hose may be below the tub level. This will syphon the water out before it ever fills up enough to turn off. The drain hose should go into the plumbing drain at a height above the top level of the tub. Hope this helps!

Washer keeps filling w/ water, only stops when changed to spin

Your drain line is too low.
OR the drain line is restricting air where it enters the drain stand pipe.
Remove the drain line and hold it up high.
Turn the washer on to fill. It should fill then stop.
This example should explain what you must do to correct the drain line problem.

Will not fill up with water

Check the exit hose behind your machine must be lying at floor level, this should not be. It must go over a certain height, approx 3 feet before it comes down to your drain. If you look carefully behind your machine you may find a water mark, the tube should go to this level & then down to your drain. Check this out.

Will not run wash properly

The sensor you are referring to could posslbly be the water level switch which controlls the level of water, and also. is a factor as to wether the washer will spin or not, it also is part of the heater circuit, so it has numerous functions.
I t can be found at the top right front of the washer, and is about 3" in diameter, and has a thin plastic tube going to it.
it could be sticking, there is no sure fire way of testing it properly, but you could try tapping it and blowing down the tube, it may solve the prob.
Hope this helps.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.
