Hello, Welcome to FixYa.

There are a couple of scenarios which may prevent the dryer from starting with Bosch.

To save time and back and forth dialog, I`ll mention the most likely and what to do about it.

**Unplug the dryer before attempting any repair tips suggested here first**

There is an auto shut off or emergency kill switch next to the motor which will prevent it to start in the event it was tripped for whatever reason.

It will look like this image below and all you need to do is push it to the right ( from the back )...

will not spin belt is fine a relay will click but - cec1732.jpg

If you`ve already taken the back of the dryer off to gain access you should have no problem. If you never have, it`ll take some time.

Either Scenario I alluded to ( the other would be resetting the hi-limit cut out, you can see through the back vent opening when the vent is removed and then by pushing the red button in...shown below ) will require the removal of that panel so let me know if you require further assistance to do this.

Keep me posted how you make out or if anything is not clear.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and good luck.

Wow ! Really duh...sorry about that.

When you hear the "click" is it indeed the relay or perhaps the door lock ?

Does it even fill with water at the beginning before trying to start ?

I am experiencing the same problem as the person stated with the washer. The door is already locked. It sounds like a relay with the motor but it does not spin. The tub will spin by hand and the belt is in tact.

I have the same problem with mine and the technician that looked at the unit tells us that the motor connector has gone bad. He apparently re-connected it? but indicated it wouldn't last. He was right, two days later it stopped working again. The cost for the motor replacement is $386. Combined with the mold problem in the front gasket, we've decided to buy a new top loading LG.

Kenmore Dryer 110.61066000 control panel is on, but just gives a

2 options.
1. your belt broke and the microswitch on the idler pulley is not being depressed therefor the motor will get power. This is easy to diagnose. Open the door and try turning the drum by hand. If it spins with little to no resistance then you need a new belt. If it spins but has resistance then you don't.
2. The motor relay on the control board is bad. The control will run through diagnostics and can appear fine even if this relay is bad.

Start wash program, fills with water, then drum does not turn.. Tried rinse progam, water ,does not turn.. Can hear relays clicking but nothin moving. But the time carries on counting down. It does drain...

If the motor is not spinning, you may have a burnt out motor or faulty Motor Control Board. Else, if the motor is spinning, fix the belt from the motor to the drum.

Motor/Drum doesn't turn/spin & belt appears to be OK

With the belt off can you spin the motor freely by hand? If no then the bearings are froze and the motor has to be replaced. If yes and the motor will not start when power is applied then the motor needs to be replaced. If it starts without the belt on but not with, then the drum is bound somewhere and has to be freed.

Washing machine not spinning AW1000W. It is about 6 years old. It appears to be responding to the control knob. It makes some slight clicking noises like a relay opening/closing It can be turned by hand...

Could be that the drive belt has broken or come off. Empty machine of washing and water, UNPLUG! turn on its side and look underneath to see of the belt is still located on the motor pulley.

The motor is faulty. Either the relay contacts are stuck or there is a shorted winding. Best to replace the motor.

test the machine empty without clothes in it, if all is well then i think your problem may be the motor carbons, take them off and check for damage, make sure one of them has not spit down the middle, also look at the armature for signs of sparking,a worn armature or carbons will work fine at slow speeds

you haven't mentioned the carbons, its trying to spin so may not be the pcb
