Good day.
Ink cartridges are very sensitive, especially as with the golden contact points. Some cartridges have small chips in it that counts the nozzle output. When the counter reached its maximum figure, the cartridge cannot be used again. You may try to remove the cartridge again and clean the contact points using a cotton buds soaked with a household alcohol. You may also clean the contact points in the cartridge bays (where you insert the cartridge). Have it dried up, install the cartridges then try again. If you receive the same error then you need to buy another cartridges.

Good luck

Hello, i am sorry to say that you may need to buy new inks for your machine, it seems that these new hp ink cartridges, seem to be able to take only one good refill.

Put new cartridge in officejet j6410 and overnight it now says cartridge on left needs replacing. put old cartridge back in and it still says the same thing

These types of severe cartridge errors (i.e. "refer to documentation" / "incompatible cartridges", "print cartridge(s) problem", "cartridge in wrong slot", etc.) typically indicate the internal micro-electronics of the HP #74/75 cartridge are damaged. The cartridge's electrical wire runs at rear and lower side of the ink cartridge, are very delicate and are somewhat susceptible to ink attack over time, which can lead to premature failures. In addition, the older the cartridge the higher the chance of an internal electrical failure. I suggest you first run a 'Tap 41' diagnostic test to check cartridges electrical health (this is a forced test); you may also bypass the error (temporarily) on most models which use HP 74/75 cartridges. Trying to reload color cartridge.

Many brand name printer cartridges have a code that tells the printer they are a new cartridge. Once the cartridge is empty it will never again tell the printer that is it new.

You can refill the cartridge but it will continue to tell the printer that it is empty.

You say you "had my ... cartridges refilled today" so I suggest you go back to the folks who refilled them and ask them for suggestions.

Otherwise, purchase off-brand cartridges that won't tell the printer they're empty and keep refilling them as needed.

Another approach: purchase a new printer that won't give you this problem. I refill my Lexmark cartridges without any problems.

Ink Cartridge error messages

Forgive me for asking this, but roughly speaking about 80 to 95% of problems involving ink or toner are resolved by the following:
Are you using a factory new ink cartridge supplied by the manufacturer of the printer?
If you are using a refilled or third party cartridge that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead.

6110xi keeps giving error message to remove and check cartridge. After doing so many times and resetting machine, error still exist. Can you help me? Thank you.

You probably just need a new cartridge, they have an expiration date after which they dont work, and many of the generic refills don't work. HP says to clean the contacts on the cart. with alcohol and also the pins in the carriage where it goes. After that it's just a new cartridge.

Cartridge errors..cartridge incorrect

sounds like they're the type of cartridges that cannot be refilled, due to the computer chip on them.

PRINTING ERROR

I would not recommend you refilling HP ink cartidges.
Because no other ink cartridges can give you a better quality or value for you money.
Even if you call HP and say that you are using reffiled ink cartridges then they will not support you even if you are in warranty.
Because Genuine HP Cartridges are manufactured under SIX SIGMA Quality assurance and they give Value for you money.
What i can suggest you is to try a Geniune set of ink catriadges and check.

Good Luck
