That is definitely a very bad problem to have. You can't even change inputs? Does you tv have an input / source button on the tv itself? Does that work? Have you tried simply unplugging it for 2 minutes and replugging it in?

Let me know and I can definitely tell you what's going on, just try the simple things first and let me know

Deleted my channels how do I restore

If this is an HD TV you don't have to scan the channels if you have a cable box, U-Verse or Satellite Receiver.
Find your TV remote. If it's a Samsung TV or LG TV or whatever, that is the remote you need. Not the one you normally change channels with.
On the remote, look for a button marked Input or Source or TV/Video.
Hit that button repeatedly until it highlights HDMI or Component. There may be several of each. If your cable box or receiver is on, you should get a picture on one of those inputs.
The TV will not be on a number channel.
If this is a Tube TV, you have already done all you can. Your TV is deceased.

Trying to set up my new elements tv with a uverse wireless box. Did a channel scan but still can't find any channels. Help please!!

Is this a high def tv? Are you using an hdmi cable, component cable(red green & blue) or a low def coax cable to connect the tv? If coax, the tv needs to be on channel 3 or 4. If hdmi or component cable is used you need to change your input on the tv with your remote to the matching input you wired it to. The uverse stb (set top box) changes the actual channels once you have selected the correct input.

Televison station won't scan

If you are receiving a "No Signal" error message, verify that:
  1. All of the cables physically connected to the TV and the input device are secure.
  2. The input device is turned on.
Your TV needs to scan for channels before it can show programming from an antenna, from cable TV when the cable comes directly from the wall (no cable box), or from a cable or satellite box connected to the TV with a coaxial (RF) cable. Do not scan for channels if you have a cable or satellite box connected using AV (Composite), Component, or HDMI cables. The box selects the channel, not the tuner inside your television. If you are not using the "TV" input, press the INPUT button on your remote until the correct input mode is selected.
To perform a channel scan using the coaxial input:
  1. Press the INPUT button on your remote to view your current input source. The TV (coaxial cable) input must be selected. This may appear as "TV," "ANT," or the channel and call letters of a station.
  2. If the TV input is not selected, press INPUT until the TV input mode is selected.
  3. Open the on-screen menu and select TV or Tuner option. (This varies by model.)
  4. Highlight Tuner Mode and select the correct option:
    • Antenna-over-the air signals from an antenna
    • Cable-direct from the wall cable TV, or a cable or satellite box connected to the TV with coaxial cable
  5. Select Auto Search or Auto Channel Scan. (This varies by model.)
  6. When the search reaches 100% complete, exit to the menu.
  7. Check the available channels:
    • Antenna or direct-from-wall cable-Press the Channel Up and Channel Down buttons on your VIZIO TV remote to view the available channels.
    • Cable or satellite box- Will return only one channel. Use the cable or satellite remote's Channel Up and Channel Down buttons.
If this does not resolve the issue, power cycle the TV and then re-run the channel scan:
  1. Turn off the TV.
  2. Unplug the TV from the electrical outlet.
  3. While the TV is unplugged from the wall, press and hold the Power button on the TV for 30 seconds.
  4. Release the power button.
  5. Plug the TV back into the electrical outlet.
  6. Turn on the TV.
Note: There is also an option to reset the TV to the factory default settings. This option is in either the SETUP or SYSTEM section of the on-screen menu. The option may be "Reset all settings", "System Reset," or "Reset & Admin." Consult your TV's user manual for the location and steps for resetting your model.
  1. Remove the coaxial cable from the DTV/TV connector on the back of your television and perform a channel scan to clear the existing channels. See the procedure above. This should not find any channels.
  2. Re-attach the coaxial cable to the DTV/TV connector and perform a new channel scan.
This video shows troubleshooting steps to use when a "No signal" message appears.

How do you set up the Soya TV. Is it cable ready?

Hi,

Yes, your TV is cable ready. To set up, you will need to use the original remote and complete the following steps.

1. Connect your cable box to your TV using either antenna (RF) cable or component A/V
2. Press the "MENU" button on your remote
3. Select "CHANNELS" using the up/down arrow buttons on your remote and press "OK"
4. Select "SCAN CHANNEL" and press"OK".
5. Select "CABLE" as the source and press "OK" to tune

The TV should now automatically tune the cable stations and exit the menu. If you need to exit the menu and/or start again just press "MENU" on the remote again.

If you have no picture, press the "INPUT" button on your remote repeatedly until the input is on "TUNER" if you are using an RF cable or "COMPONENT" if you are using component A/V cable.

Your TV should now be setup for watching cable.

Please post back if you need further assistance.

Regards,
BElectric

Tv works jsut no pic black and white screen says weak or no signel?

If it says "weak or no signal", this means your are not showing the correct input or have no channels programmed.

To find the the correct video input:
1. turn On the device you are trying to see
2. press the [input] button on the side of the TV until you get a picture (wait 3 seconds between pressing the button)

You program the TV by accessing it in the User Menu.

Also, You may access the inputs using the TV remote. Each input button (V4 and V5) may need to be pressed muliptle time to access the picture . When you press this on the remote you will notice the input change from Composite 1, Component 1, S-Video. V5 will show composite 2 and component 2. Using the side panel allows youto scan all inputs in case you are not sure.

Cant get the tv to change from aux to reg channels

depending on the tv, some tv's you can change the input by channeling up and down. others you have to push an "input, tv/video, source or a/v" button. some tv's have this button on the tv itself (try that) or try the button on the remote. make sure you are using the remote that came w/ the tv. (because if you have a satellite remote, some satellite remotes the input button has to be programmed seperately) the problem is not exactly clear if you could be more specific steps that you are taking to try to change the input to the regular channels. i may be able to help better
