Open a web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. Enter the internal IP address of your router (Default gateway) in the address bar of your browser.
Click the Firewall button.
Click the Firewall Settings button.
Use the Select a computer box to choose a computer
to forward ports to. This box contains a list of computer names that are visible on your network.
Click the Add a new user-defined application link.
You should see another page of settings that need to be entered into one of the blank lines on your routers Edit Application page. Go ahead and enter those settings and then click Add Definition.
Click the Back button.
Select the applications you just created in the Applications list, then click the Add button to move them to the Hosted Applications box.
When you are finished, click the Done button at the bottom of your screen.
And that is it! You are done!
If you could let me know for what exact application you need to port forward...I can let you know the exact port number and TCP/UDP settings

access your gateway homepage by opening your internet browser and typing this on the address bar: 192.168.1.254/management. then key in your system password and click on Settings under Firewall. there's option#2 (allow individual applications), click on "Add a new-user defined application", input the data and click submit another way is to enable DMZ plus mode. that option would actually make all the ports open. use this if option#2 is not working. after making the above changes refresh your router, just unplug then replug it from the power.
