Question about Zojirushi BBCC-X20 Home Bakery Supreme Bread Maker

Dear Help, i bought a new George Foreman breadmaker.Moel BM1000. I have tried with bread flour, oil, butter, margerine, egg, and water, salt, sugar, in all the diferent combinations but with the correct quanties to achieve a nice light loaf. They always turn out heavy and solid. The machine is all automatic. Any Ideas would appreciated. thank you. From Gerry 77 years young. gand_j@hotmail.com

  • 1 cup (250ml) warm water
  • 2 tablespoons caster sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dried yeast
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cups (375g) bread flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Directions
Place the water, sugar and yeast in the pan of the bread machine. Let the yeast dissolve and foam for 10 minutes. Add the oil, flour and salt to the yeast. Select Basic or White Bread setting, and press Start.

Basic white bread 1.5 loaf. 1 1/3 c luke warm water.2 Tbls powderted milk.1 1/2 tsps salt 1TBLs sugar. 2 TBls butter, marg or oil. 3 3/4 c flour 1 1/2 tsps yeast . Put ingredients in that order select basic bread and enjoy.

Banana Bread
Ingredients

285grams plain flour
1 tsp bicarbonate soda
half teaspoon salt
110grams butter, plus extra for greasing
225grams caster sugar
2 free-range eggs
4 ripe bananas mashed
85ml buttermilk (or normal milk mixed with one and half teaspoon Lemon Juice or vinegar)
1 table spoon Vanilla Extract
Preparation method
Preheat the oven to 180Celcius 350Farenheit Gas 4.
Sift the flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt into a large mixing bowl.
In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs, mashed bananas, buttermilk and vanilla extract to the butter and sugar mixture and mix well.
Fold in the flour mixture.
Grease a 20cm x 12.5cm/8in x 5in loaf tin and pour the cake mixture into the tin.
Transfer to the oven and bake for about an hour, or until well-risen and golden-brown.
Remove from the oven and cool in the tin for a few minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely before serving.

I bought a bread machine second hand and the person had misplaced the owners manual. I have a booklet of recipes but do not know what order to put the items in the breadmaker.


first yeast, then flour, then salt and sugar, then water and last oil. most machines have a beep sound later if you want to put in nuts, cheese or herbs. most important, water to white flour ratio is 1 cup flour to 1/2 cup water.plz rate-bozcro

Fluid first(milk,water), including melted butter; then sugar, salt, powder milk etc.; flour; yeast on top of flour but don't let it touch water.

I am making a loaf of bread with this same bread machine right now. This is the 3rd loaf I have made.

Simple white bread recipe

9 1/2 oz of water
3 cups of flour ( I use Gold Medal) it is a green and yellow package and it says Better for Bread on it.
1 TBS Powdered milk.
1 1/2 TBS Sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 TBS butter (i use salted)
1 3/4 TBS active dry yeast

you can throw an egg in there to make it more rich. If you do use 7 oz. of water instead.

Bread tastes awesome!!!
