Less than a year from buying date, then you must have a warranty from Nintendo so try contact their customer service and they should repair it for free.

Anyway if only the top screen then that problem might be a loosen top screen ribbon cable but you have to dismantle the unit to put it right in the connector and you gonna need tools and some video guides you can find in youtube.

If not enough confident about and dont have a warranty then take it to a repair shop.

Why is there a scrambled screen with audio?

Hi April, Using the HDMI or the provided RCA jacks (red, white, yellow) any time you switch between the two you will need to perform a video reset on the system. It's the same process for all models. I am putting in a link that tells you exactly how to do it. ^^ Good luck, and I hope this helps.

How do i reset my 3ds xl i cant touch on anything or use the buttons to move to select on the screen

The make and model are not clear, if this is a touch screen unit, take a q-tip and alcohol and clean all the way around the edges of the screen.

When I turn my Nintendo DS Lite on, the touch screen works fine but the top screen just goes plain white. I've tried turning it on and off but that didn't work. The screen is just white and that...

sounds like It is broken.
unless you get the startup screen beefore it goes out white i'd say something was damaged in the screen or the wiring connecting the screen to the unit.

If you see any lines on it, It was most likely over extended open and the wires inside have become frayed or damaged. If you try fully opening the top screen and push inward you may have temporary relief of this issue. could try puling out also but either way this would just be to test if thats the issue. dont pull or puch to hard as you could damage the unit further.

if it is a pure white screen the screen may have cracked or had something spilled on it which would damage the screen beyond use.

Either way, the system is damaged and needs to be replaced or repaired. Price wise it is more advisable to just buy a new unit rather then purchase parts and repair it.

How to connect nintedo to plasma tv

Hi,things you will need,
  • Video game console
  • HDMI cable
  • Audio/visual cable.
  1. Plug in your video game console's power source.
  2. Connect one end of the game console's audio/visual cable into the corresponding slot on the console if you have an older game console. If you have a newer console, insert one end of an HDMI cable into your console's "HDMI OUT" port.

  3. Plug the red and white ends of the audio/visual cable into the corresponding red and white audio inputs located on the back of your Vizio plasma TV if you have an older game console. Plug the yellow cable into the yellow "Video In" input. Depending on which model of Vizio TV you have, the yellow input may be located either right next to the audio inputs or it could be located a few ports away.

  4. Plug an HDMI cable into one of your TV's "HDMI IN" ports, if you have a newer console.

  5. Turn on your video game console and your Vizio plasma TV. Press the "TV/VIDEO" button on your remote to cycle through the various inputs. You should eventually get to an input that's displaying your video game console's home screen.
I think that will do.

Have nice day.

I cant see it but i can hear it when I turn it

Check your wires on the back of your unit, and the ones going to your television. They may not be in tight. If they are, turn it on and move the wires a bit to see if visual feed comes through. Sometimes the wires for visual die a little bit and need to be moved into an awkward position for the video to get through.

I hope this helps.

Xbox 360 white dots on screen

Unfortunately the "Black Screen, White Dots" Error is caused by a hardware failure (Some say the "towel trick" works, others have used an x-clamp fix, regardless the box is about to die if you dont do something..). If your like me, and you dont want to completely dismantle your xbox, but also dont want to spend $140 for a "fix" from microsoft, you'll need to bite the bullet and replace the unit.

When I contacted Microsoft about my error because it was out of warranty they asked for $140 to repair the unit for this *specific* error (meaning if another error presents itself it will be an additional $140).

The Xbox 360 "Arcade" Version is down to roughly $200. Instead of shipping my unit to India to have it repaired and shipped back now with the possibility of other errors popping up (sand in the disk tray?), I opted to go buy the Arcade version as Microsoft has extended its factory warranty to 3 years from purchase date.

Considering it is 2009 and the next generation of gaming units are coming on the market somewhere between 2011 and 2012, the new warranty will cover you from any other issues and you wont have to worry about shelling out tons of cash to keep repairing a rushed out of production unit (it seems anyone with a build date prior to 2006 have a slew of issues).

For what its worth, I purchased the Arcade version this month which also comes with 5 free games, an additional controller, on board memory, new cables, a quieter power "brick" (which visually seems to have more cooling ducts, as well as it being lighter), and quieter fans for the box itself. The production date was roughly 2 months ago so the warranty coverage cant be disputed.

Picture faded with white broken lines

Hi, the problems you describe are indeed related... the cable that carries the data from the lower section (mainboard) to the top screen is also responsible for the sound and the speakers are connected to this cable near the top LCD screen. It sounds like the cable has become damaged and will need replacing which unfortunatley means a new top screen due to the way the cable is connected to the screen. I come across this problem frequently and I charge customers £35 for a replacement screen and fitting.
