You need to do the following steps to be able to bypass that lock and restore it on iTunes:

  1. Plug/connect your device to a computer (PC or Mac)
  2. Turn it OFF
  3. Press and hold the POWER and HOME buttons together for EXACTLY 10seconds
  4. Release the POWER button but keep holding the HOME button until the computer beeps indicating that a USB device is recognized.
  5. Open iTunes and restore your device.

Warning: Restoring will delete all data on your device including the jailbreak and unlock, but this is the only way for you to recover it.

If you don't get it at first, try holding the buttons for lesser time or see the other procedures and some screenshots on my tip (link below):

How do i unlock my iphone 4 when its disabled

Does this copied and pasted advice help you?

iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled If you set up a passcode on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, and you or someone else then enters the wrong passcode too many times, your device will disable itself temporarily. Learn what to do if you have forgotten your passcode, or if your device displays a message saying it's disabled. If you enter the wrong passcode six times in a row, you'll be locked out and you'll see this message:
  • iPhone is disabled
  • iPad is disabled
  • iPod touch is disabled

If you can't remember your passcode, you'll need to erase your device using iTunes, Find My iPhone, or recovery mode. Then use a backup to put your data and settings back on your device. Here's how. Use iTunes If you have synced your device with iTunes, you can restore your device.
  1. Connect the device to the computer you normally sync with.
  2. Open iTunes. If iTunes asks you to enter the passcode, try another computer that you've synced with. Or try the steps below to use recovery mode.
  3. iTunes will automatically sync your device and create a backup. If it doesn't, sync the device with iTunes.
  4. After the sync is complete, restore your device.
    ht1212_02-itunes_11-device_summary_tab-002-en.png
  5. When iOS Setup Assistant asks to set up your device, choose "Restore from iTunes backup."
  6. Select your device in iTunes and choose the most recent backup.
Use Find My iPhone If you enabled Find My iPhone, you can use it to erase your device.
  1. Go to icloud.com/#find to see if you enabled Find My iPhone.
  2. Click All Devices at the top of your browser window.
  3. Select your device and click "Erase [device]" to erase your device and its passcode.
  4. Use the Setup Assistant on your device to restore the most recent backup of your device.
Use restore your device as new or from a backup.
  1. Disconnect all cables from your device.
  2. Turn off your device.
  3. Press and hold the Home button. While holding the Home button, connect your device to iTunes. If your device doesn't turn on automatically, turn it on.
  4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
  5. iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode.
  6. Click OK, then restore the device.

How to reset password on iphone without itunes

If what you say is iPhone backup password, just with a computer and a tool, iPhone backup password will be reset.

iTunes Password Genius can run in Windows computer. What you need to do is run it on computer, add iTunes backup into it, and set password attack type for backup password recovery. Once all of these done, click "Recover" button is enough.

But if you want to change or disable iPhone backup password, you need to connect iPhone to computer and do that in iTunes.

If the password you say is iPhone passcode, factory reset iPhone is a method. You can reset a new password for iPhone after factory reset. However, all of things on iPhone have deleted too. Now restore iPhone from iTunes backup on computer is a best way. The backup password could be recovered with iTunes Password Genius.

How do you unlock a forgotten passcode on an iphone 4g

As you have forgot the passcode you will have to restore the iPhone using iTunes.

Note: This process will wipe all data from your iPhone 4. You may be able to sync most of the data back once you have restored it.

1. With the iPhone 4 disconnected from your computer, power it off. Press and hold the Power button on the top of the device for a few seconds, then slide the red slider. If this method doesn't work, press and hold the Power and Home buttons for a few seconds until it goes off.

2. With the iPhone 4 off, press and hold the Home button while connecting it to the computer you registered it from. It should then power on.

3. Keep holding the Home button until you see a Connected to iTunes message appear on the screen.

4. Open iTunes and it should provide a message about an iPhone connected in Recovery Mode.

5. In iTunes, select the Summary tab and click Restore and follow the prompts.

6. You may attempt to sync your iPhone back to your iTunes to restore any data lost in the recovery process.

I hope this helps! Thank you for using FixYa!

My ipod nano wont let me in because i forgot the 4 digit combination please help.

Thanks for contacting FixYa Support, I will be glad to assist with your technical issue.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Unfortunately, if you are unable to recover the passcode for`you iPhone your only recourse, would be to restore your iPhone.

To restore your iPhone is simple:

* Be sure you restore your iPhone on the same computer or notebook that your previous iPhone backup files or stored.

* Now, make sure you are using the latest version of iTunes.

Be sure your iPhone is correctly connected to computer or notebook .

Finally, in the left column under Devices, click on your iPhone then click on Restore in the Summary tab.

* Allow the process to complete and your iPhone will be restore to its original factory default settings.

* Now simply sync your iPhone with iTunes and this is where your last sync now comes into play. When you sync after the recovery, iTunes will look for your iPhone previous backup and per your OK, will restore your most recent backup to your iPhone.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This time, when you set your passcode... Make sure to write it down somewhere or on something memorable, so that code is easily accessible and one you won't soon forget.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hope this helps.

-Mactechtrainer

Ipod touch disabled

If you repeatedly enter the wrong passcode, iPhone or iPod touch will be disabled for longer intervals, before you can try again. After too many unsuccessful attempts, you won't be able to try again until you connect to the computer you normally sync with. Note that starting with iPhone 2.1 software, there is a setting to cause the device to erase itself after 10 consecutive incorrect password attempts. This setting is off by default. It can be turned on by tapping Settings > General > Passcode Lock after you enter a correct passcode.
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device on the computer that was used to originally sync the iPhone or iPod touch so that you can reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced to the iPhone or iPod touch, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode but your data will not be present.

Unlock code from ipod

It depends on the severity and the settings you have given the iPod... Here's the full explanation. I would recommend reading the second paragraph first, but the solution if you really forgot your password is in the first paragraph.
Refer to "Updating and restoring iPhone and iPod touch software."

"If you enter the wrong passcode too many times, you'll see a message that says "iPhone is disabled" and to try again later.
