This is a maytag and it comes apart by taking out the screws in the front at the bottom. Not under the unit but there is probably a bit of a lip or a ledge and it has the screws at the bottom of it.Once you get it open you will prob ably find that one of the wheels is worn out that the drum runs on and needs replacing.
Make sure to get the make and model numbers so that they will be able to give you the right wheel. It is a go od idea to replace all the wheels (3 or 4) because the older ones will wear much faster once you replace just the one so save yourself the aggrivation and spend a couple more bucks to do the whole set and they will be good for years to come.

Just had the same problem of a rattling sound comming from the drum. I ended up taking the front off to excess the bolts on the fins. After slightly loosening one of the fins two coins fell out. Problem solved.

Sdg109wf when running it like rattling sound coming out. what do i\I have to do?

You may have to find a way to identify the location of the sound; type of sound..metal on metal, like something is loose?
The only thing I know that rattles in a dryer is if something got into the baffles/the wings on the inside of the drum.
If this is the case you have to open the top of the drum and unscrew the one baffle that that has something loose in it.

Zanussi washing machine

Open the door and grab the inside drum top and bottom, Wiggle back and forward, if it makes a knocking sound then either the bearings are worn or the drum has become detached from the bearing mount.

The dryer made a clunk sound and the tumbler stop rotating

Sounds like you belt has either broke or came off. If you were rotating the drum by hand in the counter clockwise direction when it clunked, there is a pulley kit to fix that problem. If it was just running when it clunked the belt probably just broke. Hope that helps

Rattles when drying

I need more details but typically a dryer will make a rhythmic rattling noise when loose change and other small metallic objects as well as buttons become trapped in the tumbler impellers (those wing shaped things in dryers).
Loosen and remove the top of your dryer.
Rotate your drum, taking care not to rotate it the wrong way. The right direction of rotation will produce friction to the belt, the wrong direction will cause slack on the belt on one side or the other of the drum.
Rotate the drum until the back side of the impeller is directly on top with the outer screws facing you at the top of the dryer. Remove the screws and pull out the impeller and you will find your noise makers. Do this with the remaining impellers and reinstall.

Washer has worked great for almost a year but now all the loads seem to be unbalanced. It doesn't matter if they are large, small or on any particular cycle, they all sound unbalanced and shake my house...

The motion dampers that control the outer tub's movement within the cabinet may be loose or damaged. Lift up on the inner drum when the machine is off to see if the drum moves with a 'clunking' sound which would indicate a bad drum shaft bearing (not a cheap fix). If it seems ok, remove the top and back panels to check the action of the dampers when the outer drum is shaken. Hope this helps!

Dryer drum stopped rotating, dryer blower continues to work.

The belt probably broke, and coincidentally happened while drying the shoes. The belt is easy to replace. Open the back and you'll probably see the belt laying on the bottom

Drum makes a clunking sound when rotating, even when empty

This machine has roller wheels in the front that are not adjustable, but rather need to be replaced if they have a bad spot or something. Usually what I see with a clunking noise(clunks once or maybe two quick clunks in succession) is that the dryer has been set down hard on the ground and has put two dents in the roller surface of the drum. To check this, just unplug it, pop the top off (3 screws in the back and tilt it up) and look at the very front edge of the drum. rotate the drum by hand (carefully so you dont pop off the belt) and look for any imperfections in the suface, such as dents. If you are getting more of a vibration type of noise, I would also suggest taking off the lower front cover then taking of the blower wheel cover located to the left side and checking that there is no lint built up in the blower wheel as well. Good Luck!
