Water dispencer Water continues even after you remove tha glass.Also even when you switch to ice which works fine.

When you put glass under spout you energize the water fill valve. either the water fill valve is bad or the switch that energizes it is open. Has to be tracked down with a meter

check to make sure the water hasn't frozen in the tube that it should fill the tray with. Please let me know if this isn't the problem and I can further assist you. If frozen, you should thaw out the freezer to get it working again.

Check the water inlet located at the back of the fridge.

Try using an hairdryer or defrosting the unit completely , this often get rid of blockage caused by frozen lines fixing the problem.

The water lines can also be unblocked from dirt using a thin flexible shaft. This after defrosting.

If all that does not fix the problem, then you may need to replace the water valve.

first check if you have frost build up in freezer 2 could be ice maker 3 water valve

One of the following items is most likely the problem.
The inlet valve. The dispencer switch. the water filter, or the water storage tank.
If the ice will dispence then you can eliminat the dispencer switch. If you have heated the tank in the freshfood section then you can eliminat the tank. You may also have a frozen water line. The most common would be the inlet valve. it is located on the back of the refrigerator. It is the item the water line connects to from the wall. The lines are likely clogged and will need to be removed and cleaned. Otherwise, although the pump starts, the valve may be clogged or non-functional.

???? no ice dispencing?? no llight whenthe paddle is dpressessed?? if this is the case, i would look to the wireharness under the freezer door, there should be quick disconnect just under the refrigerator. after disconnecting check for broken wiring right under the hinge

first thing to do is to remove the lower back panel behind the frige and disconet one of the water lines that goes to the top back of the frige and push the switch to get water with the line of. do that to the 2 lines one at to give you water back there. if none of the lines gives you water back there 100% that plastic valve needs replacing.

you could have a problem with your dispenser module. a burnt pcb that could lead to all of your problems. switches not working, lights not working, dispenser not working, etc.

check your dispenser module and if you find a burnt part or a burnt PCB, then replace it.
