Should I install Vista Ultimate on my Computer that is currently running on XP?

Compaq Presario X1000.......Intel R....Pentium (R) M.......
Processor 1400MHzj.....585 MHz......512 MB of Ram.....think 40GB hard drive but going to buy a external hardrive with 160GB
