Question about Husqvarna "Chain Saw - 16" Bar, 3 Hp
If the blade brake is engaged, it can be extremely hard to disengage when not mounted on the saw, as I'm sure you already know. One thing you can try is loosely mounting the cover on the bar studs with no sprocket installed so that you will have the leverage you need to disengage the brake band. Good luck.
