There is a monitor connection on the back of the pc, next to the ac adapter connector. Just plug in your monitor to it and make sure you plug the monitor's power cord into an electrical wall outlet.

I CANT CONECT TO WIRELESS USEING MY TALK TALK ROUTER...IM NOT EVEN SURE IF MY LAPTOP IS WIRELESS ENABLED ITS A TOSHIBA SATELITE PRO..L20

Hi tracie23368... There's a wireless toggle on the front to control to rurn on the onboard Atheros 802.11b/g WLAN module. All you should have to do is push that toggle in the front of your machine to the right or to the left and hold for a few seconds which will turn on the Atheros wireless card in your laptop. Then it should hook to your wireless router. Note...If you have the security set on the wireless, it will have to be also set in the laptop to be able to hook to your router Please take time to rate me thumbs up

I accidently removed something from my toshiba satelite A55-S1066. now my screen won't come on. Although I hear it. What do I do?

If you can't see anything as it is booting up then the black light on the display is out, as in broken. Get close to it and look on the edges and see if you see any light. If you see something but no picture your back light is out.

There's a function key, look for a pix of a moniter on one of the f keys. That switches it off and on. Try using an external monitor and see if you have a display. It may be stuck on external monitor if you were using one. Using another monitor will allow you to see and change it to the laptop display.

It could also be that the video chip went out on the motherboard...

I have a toshiba satelite A-55 S1063 my screen started flickering and the screen goes off why?

Usually it's because the lcd is no longer working. You can try hooking your computer to an external monitor to see if you get video. Make sure the computer is off and hooked up to the monitor before powering on the computer.

Try Booting To An External Monitor If able to...
If Display is Normal In It, Your LCD Display Panel Is Bad... The Circuit Board Attached to the Display Panel has Gone Bad...

But If You Hook It Up To External Monitor and It Doesnt Work...
Your Video Card/Chip is bad

Screen problem.

Does your LCD look like this or similiar? (below) If it does, there should be a female plug similiar to the picture also below.
Hook smaller end of cable to your laptop, the other end to your external monitor. Turn on your laptop. If the vertical lines are not present then its probably your LCD, which will more than likely have to be replaced. If lines are present, then like tom19511 said it may be the video drivers. I've had this same problem with my Toshiba Satellite p35 5 times already. Toshiba had to replace my LCD each time. LCD's are more expensive than an inverter. Good luck, I hope you get it fixed.
