Toshiba SD-V55HT stuck in Progressive scan mode.

Hello

Progressive Scan Video provides the highest resolution
pictures with less flicker and line structure

If you are using the COMPONENT/PROGRESSIVE

SCAN VIDEO OUT jacks, but are connecting the

DVD/VCR Receiver to a standard (analog) television,
set Progressive Scan to Off

If you are using the Component Video jacks for

connection to a TV or monitor that is compatible with a
progressive scan signal, set Progressive Scan to On.
To ON and OFF this function, Press "Setup" to display the setup screen.
Surf through, and hilight "Progressive scan" and press "Ok or Enter"
Here you can set this function ON or OFF. If you wnat to get it OFF, select OFF and press Enter.
OK.

I wanna buy some speakers wires for this system i cant find them anywhere7067676412 if you have them

Even if you can find them they'll probably cost a relative fortune.

Register and download the manual for free at retrevo.com

http://www.retrevo.com/support/Toshiba-SD-V55HT-Home-Theater-Systems-manual/id/284ag007/t/2/

Page 13 shows the wiring scheme.

The wire itself is just glorified lamp cord. Go down to Radio Shack or the hardware store and buy 100 feet of 18-gauge lamp cord and make your own - cheap.

Maybe bring the unit down to an electronic store and see if they have any compatible ends to match the proprietary outputs.

There are a couple whole non-working SD-V55's on eBay for under $60 delivered. If you check with the sellers to make sure the have the cables maybe you can work a deal.

From what I've seen asked for proprietary cable sets, these would be bargains.
