Question about Dayton 1hp 1750RPM 56C Frame 90 Volts Dc Electric Motor # 2M170
This has not been answered for quite awhile so I am giving it a shot and hopefully can help you...
Usually there is a wiring schematic right on the motor label, but I'm sure that you would have seen it if it was there...
So, the next thing I would do is to go to www.grainger.com which sells the Dayton brand products.
They have a full customer service dept. and tech. assistance that is very good and very helpful.
I would go there and I bet you will get the help that you need from them.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
