Question about Panasonic DMCZS7DMCTZ10 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Pictures are not loaded to my Mac/PC I am unable to load the pictures from the memory card my new TZ10. I have loaded pictures from the card once and then all functioned well on my Powerbook. This time I have tried both Mac and PC with no luck on either of them. All the pictures are visible on the cameras screen. And yes, the function wheel on top of the camera has been in the right position.

First of all, always remember to "eject" your equipment on a Mac and use "safely remove hardware" on a PC when you disconnect to avoid corrupting the camera. To avoid problems in the future, do what the pros do...use a separate card reader like the one pictured here. Pictures are not loaded to my Mac/PC

Try the free photo cataloging/editing program Picasa.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use the aforementioned Picasa.

I have a video recording on my lexar multi use 4 gb sdhc card when i upload my pictures it loads them but is not loading the video recordings. My camera is panasonic DMC-TZ10! Please help!

1. Are you trying to upload to a program that only works with photos? 2. Are the videos shot in AVCHD lite? Most programs can't open it. Only works with PHOTOfunSTUDIO on a PC computer....won't work at all on a Mac.

I took 10 pictures without the memory card so the pictures are on the cameras memory i suppose. I'm now wanting to load them onto my computer but my picture program as well as computer can't see the...

Took a bit to find this this bad news in the manual but what happens now is to get the pictures from the internal memory to the computer as a down load you need to first insert a memory card format the memory card and load each picture from the internal memory onto the memory card one at a time once that is down then you can download the memory card to the computer then you will need to reformat the memory card and then go back into the internal memory erase each one of those images and format the internal memory. Now the GOOD news, you only have 10 pictures. Don't forget to do the formatting.

Try using a card reader until the problem can be resolved with your camera.
Format your memory card once you have the images backed up. Try another memory card to see if it works in the camera. If another one works, it is probably a faulty card, but if it doesn't you may need service for your camera.
Call Canon tech support if this doesn't work.

Coby DP-887 Digital Picture Frame: Unable to transfer pictures to internal memory

The Coby DP-887 does not have built in memory so one cannot "load" pictures onto it. It is a viewer in every sense of the word. If you load pictures on a flash drive or memoory stick and plug that into the Coby DP-887 then you'll be able to view pictures or video.

Memory card formatted in error

Once the memory card is formatted, the files saved or pictures will be deleted and there is no way to retrieve the images.

I would advise that you transfer the pictures first to your PC before formatting the memory card.
