Windows 8.1 OS is the biggest piece of garbage to come down the pike since Ford came out with Edsel. Do yourself a big favor and take it back - see if you can get another unit with Win 7 installed. Some manufacturers give you the option of going back to 7 if the unit comes with Win 8. Check that option out also.

Rca d52w23 tv power light comes on then off after about 3 sec. this happens 3 times without pic or sound, then tv stays off

vvghostvv,

You could literally have anything wrong with your unit. RCA standard procedure is to try to start 3 times when there is a fault then lock the unit out. I have a tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r6396176-projection_tv_troubleshooting which will walk you through the troubleshooting process as well as tell you where to get any parts you may need.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the great rating.

I have the D52W23 RCA TV and it will turn on but no picture will come on the screen. when you turn it on it makes a churping noise every 2-5 seconds do you have any idea of what this could be?

You have may be two bad eletrolytic caps and a high voltage safety cap that are bad. And maybe a bad flyback. This is the common problem for this TV. Sorry!!!

I have a rca 50 dlp hdtv and i replace the blub but the ligh isn't coming on does this tv has fuse

I assume you replaced the lamp since it had gone out. If the previous lamp looked ok, I would hang on to it as it may be ok. If it blown, then it can be recycled. You likely have a defective ballast board which supplies voltage to ignite the lamp. This may have failed on its own or could have been damaged if the original lamp blew out. There are other possibilities also, but that is the most likely. You also would want to try re-seating the lamp and be certain the lamp door is fully closed.

Squeak - Squeak

if it is kitchenaid/whirlpool unit it has 2 nylon ropes that connect door hinges to the springs on either side of door hinges.these ropes slide over plastic wheels and with time it stars making noise.just cln those wheels and apply little bit of regular bearing grease on those plastic wheel.noise wil go away.to do this u have to pull the unit half way out to access those wheels on lhs and rhs lower front end corners of the unit.good luck.
