Question about Canon PowerShot SD630 Digital ELPH / IXUS 65 Digital Camera
From what I understand, and have read, many photographers have had varying luck with recovery programs, but unfortunately they are the only way to recover images. There are many programs available and it sounds like you have tried 2 of them. Some of these programs are free to download and some cost money. I would try other recovery programs (especially the free ones), and I have heard good things about a program called ZAR ( Zero Assumption Recovery). I will tell you that from what I know most of the time the images can be recovered but sometimes the data is truly gone. I hope this helps!
