My sears kenmore series 70 will not agitate or spin

Hello.

If your washer is indeed a WFL2066, than the not spinning is directly relatedto the unit not draining.

These machines by design cannot spin if the drain is inadequate.

Here is the first step in resolving the problem, you need to access the drainpump/filter to clean it.

To reach the filter and clean it...

**Unplug the washer from the dryer or wall, or turn off the 30amp breakerat the home service panel...safety first**

1) Open the small square plastic door at the right bottom of the washer.

2) Via the small hose drain any access water from the pump...this is where a wet/dry shop-vac comes in handy, or a shallow pan with a few towels works a swell.

3) Then turn the pump insert/button trap counter clock-wise and pull out.Clean the trap out thoroughly running it under hot water and mild soap or your washer detergent and inspect inside the pump for any other foreign objects/obstructions.

4) Re-install the lint trap insuring it is good and snug/tight. Before closing up the small access door, run a short rinse spin cycle to check for leaks.

Let me know how you make out, or if you require further assistance.

Thank you for visiting our site please take a moment to rate the infoprovided for you here.

Thanks.

The washer is not spinning well...Clothes are partly wet when cycle is completely off...it used also to leak at one time where we can see some water when the cycle is complete...

Hello, when the clothes are partly wet when cycle is complete then check these.
1. Motor coupler
2. Spin cycle

MOTOR COUPLER; To test the motor coupler, restart the washer in it's spin cycle, let the machine runs for a minutes and then open the lid and notice if the tub is spinning: if it's spinning when you lift the lid that means the coupler is fine and if it doesn't spin that means you have to replace it.
SPIN CYCLE: If the washer doesn't reach it's proper spin speed, the cloth may be wet at the end of the cycle, check to be if the load is properly balanced and run a spin cycle again,if the clothes are still wet, you may have a worn or loose belt which you have to replace.
Thanks

Spin cycle spins out of control - the machine seems to work just fine up until it reaches top speed on the spin cycle, then it wobbles really bad. Its like the load is unbalanced, but no matter how few...

First, see the Sears parts site for your washer:

http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/getModel!retrieve.pd?pop=true&modelNumber=110.29812890

Look at the section for the Machine Base.

Sears / Whirlpool / Kenmore top load washers use a set of springs and suspension pads to keep the top of the washer with the tub and basket from vibrating against the base of the washer.

It's possible that one or more of the springs has come off and / or that the suspension pads have worn down or broken.

See the following for how to remove the cabinet and gain access to the springs and pads.

They are relatively inexpensive.

You don't have to remove the agitators, tub, motor, pump or transmission, just the cabinet.

Water is leaking from bottom of washer. Product is a Kenmore, Model #110.26752500. Have also noticed that basket inside washer moves quite a bit.

First, see the Sears parts site for your washer:

http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/getModel!retrieve.pd?pop=true&modelNumber=110.26752500

LEAKING:

See the Sears site sub-components for the agitator, basket and tub. It's possible that one of the gaskets or seals has worn over time.

I'd also pull off the cabinet and check the hoses leading to and from the pump. It's also possible that the pump is leaking.

See the following for how to remove the cabinet.

http://www.american-appliance.com/catalog/newsdesk_info.php?newsPath=16&newsdesk_id=137

If the basket moves quite a bit more than it should I'd also check the Basket Drive Block to make sure that the "spin tube" is correctly inserted into toe slots on the block and that the "Spanner Nut" is not loose.

I's also check the springs and suspension pads on the Machine Base .

Washer leaks water in the back of the washer but i cannot see any signs of the leak. this is a front load washer . model 970 ca0042 00,

I have a Kenmore front loading washer HE2 Plus.
Started leaking only 6 months old from the back over the spin motor.
I found a bolt had come out of the motor bracket causing the motor to crack a small hole in the plastic outer drum. I've been down for about a month waiting on the part and service. This is under warranty and we cant get any help any sooner from sears, not even a loaner.
Will not purchase Kenmore products again, 2nd front loader from Kenmore, 2nd problems.

My Kenmore Series 80 washer model 23832100 spins slowly

It probably is your clutch. You will need to remove transmission to repair this.
