Question about Acer Aspire 5100 Notebook
There are a few ways you can solve this, 1. Get someone to test the adapter in there laptop providing it is the same output and plug connection, 2. use a voltage meter on the charger unit or take it to a shop to be tested. If the DC socket on the laptop is broken then you can replace one for around £5 gbp
This will need to be soldered too just a few wires not too difficult if you have soldered before.
