    Ok let's start with this, when you first plug in the camera or unplug the camera, does Windows make the little "ba-doop" chime that lets you know some knew device was plugged in or removed? Please confirm.

    Thanks

    Oh I see, it's just with the software itself. I seee.... ok what you need to do is run it in XP compatibility mode tp dp that you need to go to My Computer, then C Drive, and navigate to where the 2.2 PE is installed. Probably something like C:\Program Files\Trutech... something like that.

    Go there and locate the actual program that it is launching. You can also find where / what it is by going to your start menu list of programs, finding the 2.2 PE and right clicking on the icon you use to open the program, on the main tab it should have LOCATION and will say C:\Program Files\.... wherever it is\PE.exe or something like that. Go to that exact file using the method listed above... then:

        Right click the executable and click the Properties option.

        Select the Compatibility tab.

        Select the Run This Program in Compatibility Mode option.

        From the drop-down list, choose the operating system you ran before upgrading to Vista.

        If necessary, select the option to run the program as an administration.

        Click OK.
    Then try to launch it...

    If it still doesn't work then that program simple will not work in Vista at all :(

    I see, well you may want to install XP on that machine and dual boot if you have to, I am seeing many others that have had that problem with version 2.2... doesn't look like it will work with Vista at all :(

    Either that or just put XP on that system... If you want to find out about dual booting (it's pretty tricky but can be done) read this;

Wont post.

Try a few things for me OK? From what you typed, turned on the psu "the toggle switch on the psu", pc seemed to be starting up. I need you to keep the toggle switch on the power supply in the on position. Press and hold the start button on the PC case to shut it down. Give it a few seconds & power up by pressing the power switch on the case. Notice a differance? Next, unplug everything connected to the pc expect the monitor, mouse & keyboard. Try to boot. Still no? Remove the side of the case exposing the board. Turn the psu off by flipping the toggle switch on the psu, wait till the green light on the board goes out. Grab the Mb ( I know it's tight in there) and see if you can move the board in any direction. Not loose? Re-check all data & power connections for a solid connect. Re-check your case to Mb connections. Also check the PSU, there is a red slide switch it should be set to 115v. Post your findings..
