First check the power supply for each unit. A low battery or bad filter capacitor (AC power) can cause all sorts of misbehavior.

Do you have an infrared camera or other IR detection device available? (Sometimes you can improvise by removing the infrared filter from a Webcam.) Check to see if the IR emitter is working. Another possibility is that the sensor or emitter cover is dirty. Also, check whether there is something in the field of view that is causing the false alarm. Moving the sensor unit is one way to eliminate this possibility.

These are the "easy" preliminary checks. If you haven't found the problem with these tests, it's time to get out the instruments and check voltages and waveforms.

Have1989 nissan hardbody and carbarator runs a steady stream of fuil when trying to crank doesnt stop. Whats wrong

Hi, the likely problem is a stuck float valve. If you tap with a small hammer on the carburetor float bowl near where the fuel line attaches, you may be able to reseat the valve, at least temporarily. As a long term solution, I would rebuild the carburetor. In the process, you would get a new float valve. Please let me know if you have more questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

I there any way to adjust the snsitivity of the motion sensor? Wind blowing seems to set it off

U CAN PUT TAPE ON THE SENSOR IN BOTH DIRECTIONS TILL THERE IS ONLY ABOUT A 1/8" HOLE IN THE CENTER AND IT WILL STILL PICK UP MOTION AS SOMEONE WALKS BY IT. JUST START AT THE BOTTOM AND WORK UP OR START ON THE SIDE TILL U GET IT TO WHERE U WANT IT. I PUT A PIECE OF TAPE ON THE BOTTOM THEN A PIECE ON TOP. THEN A PIECE ON TOP OF THE BOTTOM PIECE SO IT COVERED ANOTHER 1/8", THEN ANOTHER PIECE ON TOP OF THE TOP PIECE AND SO ON TILL I TUNED IT IN TO JUST HOW I WANTED IT. GOOD LUCK.

DGB-600 won't stop beeping and is missind grinder

The grinder cover has a white pin as a part of the cover that acts as a go between for the plastic molded post on the cover and a contact switch in the unit. Without the cover in place the molded post is not long enough to reach the contact switch and "tell" the machine it's o.k. to brew. It will beep incesssantly and do nothing. Get a replacement cover, or jury rig something to act as a replacement for the grinder cover pin. You can manually push in the switch to get it to stop beeping, but it will spring back out as soon as you release it.
