Question about Dell Computers & Internet
This kind of problem takes a little troubleshooting and time. Check to make sure that the power plugs are plugged in securely. (Both ends) Also, if you can, unplug the power, open up the case and check the plugs from the power supply to the motherboard and make sure they are secure. This is assuming that it is a desktop, not a laptop. Be sure to touch the metal case to discharge static first or you risk damaging the components. Could also be overheating. Make sure that the holes on the case are not covered by dust, an that the fans are all working properly. If desktop, you can plug in the ccomputer and turn it on for a short time to check the fans. There should be fans on the case, inside of the power supply ( you can look at the back of thr computer to see if it's working), and on the CPU (processer). If you have a laptop, unplug the power, then remove the battery, and get a can of air and blow dust from all of the air holes around the sides and under the computer. be sure to keep the can upright or it may sprat liquid into the computer. Vacuuming is not recommended, as a vacuum hose generates a lot of static, and may also blow out components. Good luck with it.
