Hi my whirlpool dryer does not spin.. Pls help

    I have a 2 month old brand new Dryer that heats up but does not spin. Model #AGD4475TQO Serial #MW1208353. Please advise.

    I have an older Whirlpool dryer that just stopped spinning. The motor is running, but tub not rotatting. Is this something I can tackle myself?

    Hi I have a white knight 6kg condenser dryer model no cl 767 and it has stopped spinning i think the belt may have broken but havent got a clue how to get to it as the back doesnt come off cos there are electrical wires attached

Usually if a dryer won't spin, I suggest checking the belt to make sure it isn't broke or even the motor burned out. If you post a model number for your dryer, I may be able to assist you further.

Sounds like the belt is either broken or has slipped off. Please post the model number so I can try to assist you, if you need help replacing it.

SOURCE: whirlpool gas dryer, drum doesn't spin

most likely a bad belt. if the lint screen is on top, remove the lint screen and there should be two screws. take out the two screws. then pull the dryer top toward you and then up and it should release. if that doesnt work a small scredriver can release the latches that are between the top of the dryer and the front of the dryer. the top should come up and then you can see the belt around the drum. check condition of belt by pulling on it.
