Question about Car Audio & Video
Many of these radios have a factory protection code. This code is supposed to come on a paper or a note in the user book for the radio.
To activate the radio with a lost code, this is dealer or authorized service only. For most of these radios there is no master code. The ROM with a new code must be replaced inside of the radio.
Depending on the model, the cost at most dealers can be about $80 to $120.
