Question about Toshiba Qosmio G25-AV513 Notebook
When I play my TV tuner on LIVE television, my Qosmio G25-AV513 will shut completely down after about 15 minutes. No lights will remain on and in about 3 minutes I will see lights and then can power it back up. I always hear a winding sound prior to its shut down. However, if I watch programs that I have recorded I can watch the whole program without any problems. I suspect I may need another fan. It makes a funny winding, stuttering, and hesitating sound more often now. I can configure regular PC's and would like to tackle replacing whatever I need to...

Your laptop may become overheated and that is why it shuts down, make sure the laptop is on a hard service so that the fan can get air. hot weather can cause problems as well.
