Hello there:
please use this troubleshooting list i have pprovided below to help troubleshoot the problem and let me know how this is going ok
If your dryer is noisy, check these: Rollers Many dryers use rollers or wheels to support the clothes drum. When these rollers are worn, they can be noisy. You should replace the whole set of rollers at the same time. Idler pulley Dryers have a tension or idler pulley that keeps tension on the main drive belt. When it's worn, it can be noisy. When that happens, don't lubricate it. Just replace it. Glides Many dryers use nylon or plastic glides at the front of the clothes drum for support. When these are worn, they can be noisy. When that happens, replace them. Rear drum bearing Some dryers support the clothes drum in the rear with a center spindle instead of rollers. The spindle may be a ball-and-socket type support or a shaft through a sleeve. When the components are worn, they may squeak, squeal, or rub. You can't repair them. Just replace them when they're worn. Blower wheel Your dryer's blower wheel pulls air over the heat source, through the clothes drum, and past the thermostats, then pushes it out the exhaust duct. The blower wheel, which is usually plastic, may wear out over time. But if it's noisy, it may simply be clogged with lint. Clean the blower and test to see if the dryer is still noisy. If it is, you probably need to replace it.

Why isn't My Kenmore Heavy Duty 70 Series Soft Heat Extra Capacity Electric Dryer drying clothes on any one cycle?

One possibility: Air flow! Make sure that the lint trap is cleaned before each cycle. You likely need to thoroughly clean out the vent piping out the back of the machine- a buildup of lint in here can also restrict airflow.

check the thermal fuse if it is blown also change the high limit thermal cut-off fuse www.repairclinic.com shows your parts. go there and enter model number. Also check the heat element. to get into it remove the lint filter and the two screws you'll see there then pry the top up at the front corners. And through the back you should find the heat element and blower housing and thermal fuse and high limit fuse and cycling thermostat.

Kenmore 70 Series

You probably have an open thermal fuse, the dryer will run in some cases and not heat, Just moving air across you clothes will dry them however it takes forever.

If you are electrical or mechanical replace the thermal fuse yourself if not call someone you trust, you can purchase thermal fuses on line from Sears.com just do a parts search for you specific dryer.

Signal

Kenmore 70 series. Model/Stock 66702692 Serial MG2402832

Cycle Signal works but then won't shut off until I open up the dryer door - it just keeps buzzing for hours. Also the dryer will turn on if I close the door ( and arrow is within a number and not on off) without pressing the start button. So if door is closed - the dryer will run or buzz (depending on arrow). How do I fix this?

Thank you
