Question about Gaggia Titanium Espresso Machine

1 Answer

We have a 4 month old gaggia titanium. Today, the steam wand stopped working. (It makes coffee just fine.) I've cleaned the steam wand. When I turn the steam dial, very little steam comes out and I hear a pumping sound. When I push button 27 (or 26) for hot water, no hot water comes from the wand, but hot water goes into the drip tray. Help. Thanks!. Is this correct: Yes

Sounds like the steam wand is getting blocked some where either at the metal end or in the parnello wand if you machine has one at the end of the steam wand, if both of those are clean then try this push in on the steam knob if that works then tap rod assemble or steam valve needs to be replaced, make sure to ask about the stainless steel valve instead of the plastic one.

No steam or water through steam wand on Gaggia Titanium

Try this, push in on the knob when the flow stops, if that works, then the tap rod needs to be replaced. If your machine has the plastic steam valve assembly, try to get the stainless steel steam valve, I noticed that you have replaced once.

After descaling, cleaning the steam wand and checking everything, including opening the steam valve, etc the pump on the Gaggia Titanium coffee maker does not appear to be working. How is this fixed?

You may have a blockage, are you using correct descaler? Does it get warm, does the pump even come on? Many possibilities here. This is advanced mechanical troubleshooting, you must remove the rear panel and do diagnostics and troubleshooting or ship it to us, we are in LOS ANGELES, CA.

Hi, the hot water outletpipe( i don`t know how to say it in english) keeps leaking water. If the machine is heating up, tehe pipe allready starts leaking and keeps doing it. The machine is only 8 months...

Do you mean the "steam wand" ? The pipe you would use to steam milk?
That sounds like the steam valve needs replacing or rebuilding. If the machine is only 8 months old it is still under warranty. You should contact the store where you bought it or contact Gaggia service center in your country.

You need to push the hot water button on the machines panel to allow water to run out of the steam wand. After a few seconds the machines ventilate message should clear.

When I turn on the steamk valvue the pump turn on for about 30 sec. then shuts off and says ventilate. i just replace the steam valvue today but that was not the problem. can you help?

Check the end of the steam wand for blockage, and or remove the tube feeding the valve and carefully turn machine on and run the steam cycle if no blockage, then remove wand and check for blockage.

No hot water or steam from wand.

If steam wand is not blocked then the problem is on the inside of the machine, try descaling the machine that might clear the blockage in the steam line.

Titanium ventilate issues

Remove the milk frother, checked to see if it is blocked.
This can cause the machine not to ventilate correctly.
They tend to block with old hard milk.
