My gun wont shoot. Ill **** it once and it will fire a dead shot then not recock

firstly its always better to change both of the bands even if one is broken this always keeps the drive trim.all seems well clean all the contacts ie battery and gun (do not use any cleaning products this will cause grease)just wipe clean with paper towel.

You move the cross hairs to the shot. Set up your gun on a bench and start by firing at a target out at about 15 yards. Once you are "on paper" set your cross hairs on the center and fire a 3 shot group Adjust the scope to the group. if the group is down 3 inch and left 4 inch. Adjust your scope accordingly. Then Fire another 3 shot group, until you are shooting center. Every time you adjust your scope tap the barrel of the scope with a screwdriver handle to keep the cross hairs from sticking. Once on at 15 yards move out to your max range and adjust to that.

Personally, with that many problems, I'd call Mossberg and get a return authorization. None of these things should be happening, especially with a new gun.

Sounds like it needs to be oiled. A couple of drops in the small hole where your bottle screws on.
Replace bottle and dry fire to see if you got it. Cleaning is just as important. Internals need to be cleaned
and lubed often. I know it's late but hope it helps someone.

When adjusting a scope just move a few clicks at the time, after every few clicks tap the scope with a screw driver handle. Fire 2 rounds for group tap and fire the third round it should be in line with the 2. Keep that up till on target. Let the gun sit till cold and re-fire for grouping, 2 rounds, wait then the third. To keep shooting round after round can get the reciver warm enough to wedge the scope in its bases, causing your problem. 

Clean it and get a full fill on your tank.

the relese mechanism came loose and i put the pin back in if anyone needs help ill be happy to help fix it

bazthespazz i would like that file you said, just bought the daisy buck 400 and got jammed arround the first 20 shots nd i want to repair it but its hard to remove the piece of the trigger
