Contact HP. They have copies of it that you can buy. They should be available unless the version of windows is obsolete.

XPS-410 needs to have MCE 2005 Rollup two SP3 replaced by Windows 7 64 bit. Too many problems to list currently but will work limited programs

Not sure what you are trying to do. If you are trying to convert 32 bit to 64 bit Apps, try going to manufacturers website to look for drivers.
Win 7 will actually find the best drivers for your devices.

Blue Screen Of Death

  • You may need to roll back system with System Restore (press F8 during boot and choose safe mode). Or, you could also try uninstalling last program(s) that was installed, again in safe mode.
  • Re-install Windows.
  • Lastly you may have other hardware problems. If it does another blue screen after reloading windows, especially with a clean install.

I'm trying to load windows 7 on my hp pavillion dv6725 us laptop, it started installing then it failed i tried again it wont boot from cd but the rom is working th lights are blinking the tray is...

Do you have the correct version of Windows 7? You cannot load a 64 bit onto a 32 bit system, you cannot load Ultimate onto Home.

Do you still boot to the original op sys, what was it?

It's a dell monitor e2010h and it starts up then runs post op then it goes into a black screen and a cursor

That is the computer problem, try booting in safe mode to see it works OK, if it does, you can try uisng system restore to take it back the known working date before the problem start.

Hit F8 key while booting up if you use XP.

Windows XP

It should have come with the 32. For dual boot on this machine, go in and set up XP on the same partition as Vista. When the machine starts up it will go to a screen that allows you to choose which op system you want. You shouldn't, but if you run into conflicts you will need to create a separate partition for the two op systems.
