I do have a DSCT100 which has the same menu for this model.

You could go to the HOME menu, look for the Settings icon that looks like a briefcase. Inside the settings go to Main Settings 1 and look for Initialize.

You could also reset it by removing battery for a few minutes.

Hope this helps...ü

Hi,

To resolve the error message, try doing a power reset and Initialize option.

Performing a manual power reset

Turn off the camera.

Remove the battery pack.

Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.

Reinsert the battery pack.

Turn on the camera.

Initialize can only be done if you're able to access the menu of the Camera. To reset the Camera back to factory default, select the INITIALIZE Option from the SET UP1 Menu of the Camera to OK.This will set the user defined settings back to factory default. The images and videos will not get deleted.

Hi,

If the Menu settings in the camera is changed, then I suggest you to reset the Camera back to factory default. Initializing the Camera back to factory default will set all the settings in the Camera back to factory default.
To initialize the Camera back to factory default, select the INITIALIZE Option from the Main Settings 1 Menu of the Camera to OK.This will set the user defined settings back to factory default. The images and videos will not get deleted.
You can also try a manual reset;

Turn off the camera.

Remove the battery pack.

Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.

Reinsert the battery pack.

Turn on the camera.

The blurry image capturing can also adjusted by changing the ISO Settings or the Scene Selection modes.

My DSC-T10 Sony Digital Camera fell down and now the new pictures taken are coming Blurry (hazy). My old pictures in the memory stick shows perfect. Please advise what could have happened.

Hi,

Based on the information you've provided, it seems that the Lens Mechanism of the Camera is damaged when it fell down. The Lens of the Camera is not focusing properly while capturing the images. As the issue is with the lens mechanism, the previously captured images are displaying normally. I suggest that you try resetting the Camera and check if the issue can be resolved.

Performing a manual power reset

Turn off the camera.

Remove the battery pack.

Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.

Reinsert the battery pack.

Turn on the camera.

To reset the Camera back to factory default, select the INITIALIZE Option from the SET UP1 Menu of the Camera to OK.This will set the user defined settings back to factory default. The images and videos will not get deleted.

If the issue persists, service may be required.

if the hand icon is displayed while taking a picture, then according the camera the device is under vibration. this message is due to the fact that the lens array is under a serious problem and probably you should have dropped it.

Try to reset the camera as in my other posts here in this thread on Sony problems.
The reset button is under the battery door. Push the button, close the door, start the camera and reset all the settings to the way you want, including the date and time.
