Question about Microwave Ovens
This is obvious but did you visit's cook's web to see if you can purchase a new one? if you memorized the socket appearance and/or print out a digital picture of it, you could scrounge thru thrift store electronics boxes to try to find a match. this has worked well for me when my cell chargers have died and needed replacement.
