Trying to connect pc with hdmi cable have great picture no sound on TV Used HDMI imput 7 tried imput 6 with hdmi and audio imput from PCF to TV still picture and no sound any suggestions

Hi Scott,

On your PC, you'll need to go into the Control Panel --> Hardware & Sound --> Sound (Windows 7) and click on "Playback". Here, you'll need to change the sound settings to reflect the audio to be handled by the video card / audio chipset / HDMI jack on the motherboard. You should also check for other settings such as Digital Output that are usually associated with and HDMI jack on the card and not an analog jack.

As it is now (or is likely to be the case anyway) the picture is being handled by the HDMI on the video card / motherboard; but the audio is still coming from the the speaker jack(s) on the motherboard or audio card. Making the changes above will redirect the audio from the speaker jack(s) to the HDMI jack instead.

Good luck!

My HP PSC 1410 cannot detect Windows 7 computers

First of all I would recommend getting the most up to date Windows 7 drivers for the printer from here:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=441115

If your PC does still not see the printer I recommend running through my article/video guide for getting a printer online linked below:

http://www.refreshcartridges.co.uk/igloo/how-to-make-your-offline-printer-online-windows-7/

Hope this helps.

Windows 7 on Toshiba P25-S526 PC and there drivers

For any drivers not automatically installed with Windows 7 running Windows Update should detect most all of them. You should make sure to select all updates, including optional updates (not the language packs). The optional updates may include hardware updates which will ensure your hardware is using the best and most current software possible. If this does not detect everything, I would recommend going to the toshiba support website and downloading the remainder of the drivers from there. You should also make sure your laptop is compatible with Windows 7 by checking out Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.

Good Luck,

I just put windows ultimate on my old hp laptop that initially had windows 7 and everything seems to be fine apart from the audio. At first i thought that it was the drivers but after installing the hp...

This sounds like a Compatability issue with Windows 7, check with HP to make sure your machine is compatable. You may not be able to use windows 7 on your PC. Make sure the drivers you have downloaded are the correct ones and are listed for Windows 7, vista ones should work but may not. Xp ones will definately not work
