Follow your motherboard manual's instructions to enter the setup CMOS. look for the option that lists the on-board functions, such as video or graphic card. If your motherboard has the video card on-board, there will be an option to enable it or disable it. Set this option to "enable" if it isn't already. If your motherboard does not have on-board video, it must have a video card installed in that slot. In either case, if you have a monitor display when you turn on the computer, your video card IS enabled.

Hello everyone. Just wondering do I need an optical drive for my brand new pic I just built? And I just installed my motherboard and the graphics card together but nothing is working on the screen.


use the cd that came with the mother board as it has all the drivers to make the mother board work and to line up the graphic card
if the was a cd for the card run that as well

Yes. As long as the system meets all requirements to support the card. You MB RAM is independent of the video RAM.

You motherboard is not having graphics needed to play the 3D games.
You need to buy a new graphics card.

Yes if it has the port for the graphics card it will work with the onboard graphics card just make sure then that your video output is plugged into the ATI radeon and not the onboard..or it will not work correctly. if you have anymore questions just let me know and i will answer them asap.

read the motherboard manual carefully, whether ur mb have builtin vga. if its enabled, first disabled it u put the vga card and try to install the drivers as per the instructions carefully adn also u can get the drivers for graphic card GEFORCEFX 5200 from www.driverguide.com
