The following works on a region 4 player. With no disc in the player and the drawer closed, press stop, stop, setup, then 3,8,8,8,3 and the desired region code, (0 for multiregion). Nothing will appear on screen. Then switch the player off and back on. It should now play discs for any region.

if your looking for region code you will have to search internet
type in your model number for your dvd player

_-_-_-_-_ then type "region code" there will be instructions also on how to do this
