Question about Iolo Technologies System Mechanic: Windows

I have attempted to load the software several times. for the past months. I have called TECH support and allowed to access to my PC to load the IOLO software, and twice they was not able to complete the installation. I am really tired of this issue. The problem:when it is loaded, it say restart the computer and it will be loaded, when I reboot nothing happens. I called and left a message for HELP and I have yet to get assistance. I should have bought NORTON, a trusted company.

Search for REVO Unistaller and perform a scan on IOLO app, the will uninstall deeper than the normal and in the registry..Also go to C: Progamfile... and i fany IOLO flies left dete them. If still the issue get a Free one, as good as paid.

System mechanic loads but will not run


You are using the demo version of the software. That is why it is "crippled" You have to purchase the software in order to get all the features to work.

However, Do yourself a favor and get a better and totally FREE app called CCleaner. It does all the things system mechanic does and more, and it's FREE. It's super easy to run and it's a very popular app among tech geeks. You can download CCleaner here:

Please follow the steps below to perform a thorough uninstall and reinstall of your iolo product. Depending on which iolo product(s) you had, some of these items may not be present.

1. First uninstall anything from iolo from your system and restart the computer.
2. Right-click on the Windows Start button and select Explore.
3. Navigate to C:\Program Files and delete the iolo folder.

**If any of these folders state a file is in use, open your Windows Task Manager and end any iolo processes that are running and try again. Ultimately, Windows Safe Mode will allow all of the folders to be removed.

4. Once the folders are removed, click on the Windows Start button, select Run, in the Open field type REGEDIT and click OK. This will open the registry editor.
5. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Software and delete the iolo key.
6. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, Software and delete the iolo key, should it exist.
7. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, Software, Microsoft, Windows, CurrentVersion and double-click on Uninstall.
8a. When it expands, look for any of the following items and delete them should they exist:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ioloFileInfoList

9. Remove residual antivirus files

a. Right-click the task bar located at the bottom of your desktop and select Task Manager.
b. From the Windows Task Manager select the Processes tab.
c. Locate and click on the process named Dvpapi.exe to highlight it.
d. Click the End Process button, then click Yes to confirm.
e. Navigate to C:\program files\common files and right-click the folder named Authentium.
f. Click Delete, then click Yes to confirm.
g. Download and install the Microsoft cleanup utility. You can download this file from Microsoft’s web site at: http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/9/d/e9d80355-7ab4-45b8-80e8-983a48d5e1bd/msicuu2.exe
h. Run the utility by clicking Start>All Programs>Windows Installer Clean Up.
i. Highlight Authentium Antivirus SDK and click Remove. Click OK to confirm.

10. Close all open windows, restart the computer & re-download.

Device manager will not load drivers for Hp c6280


You might have to load the software for it.Before you begin download the latest drivers and install file for it.Unplug the device start to load the software only plug the device in when you are told by the software,hopefully this should take care of this.

IOLO software which is the company that makes System Mechanic has a very strong technique for testing serial #s before the software is installed. If the serial # fails that testing it will not be allowed to be installed. It is possible that IOLO has decided that your particular serial # is no longer valid due to possible use on the warez scene, i.e. it has been pirated. If that is the case then you will have to contact IOLO and let them know exactly where you got the software so they can futher investigate your purchase and the vericity of the agent you purchased from. Now you indicate that you have tried using this serial # several times and thus my next suggest may not work as a result, however it is still worth a try. TRY installing System Mechanic as shareware without the use of a serial #. With some softwares this will get into a limited mode of operation which may allow you to re-enter the serial # from the ' ABOUT ' screen. I doubt this will help with most IOLO softwares, but it is at least worth a shot. I have seen circumstances where trying to use an invalid serial
# can and will remove the future funtionality of IOLO software even with a GOOD serial #, meaning a person would have to remove all registry entries pertaining to IOLO software ( far beyond a simple de-installation ) before a ' good and valid ' serial # will effective. IOLO is very tough in this regard, one of the toughest around. One other thing that should be mentioned is the possibily of operating system corruption due to continued use of a bad serial #. While in most cases IOLO software would simply stop working, it is entirely possible that when it stops working it would also take the operating system with it. Other then the above circumstances, the only other possibility that I can think of for your serial not being validated is possibly a proxy issue if you are using a proxy or a firewall that is not letting communication with the IOLO website to occur. Please verify that your firewall, both hardware and software are permitting communication with the IOLO website

Circuit breaker on laundry circuit has started to trip


if the machines are both on the same outlet i would attempt to run them on seperate outlets first to see if it improves. as time lapses breakers or gfi's can weaken and a continous amp draw esp. in the spin and the ignition stage at the same time which are the largest amp draw from either machine at any give time could be causing the issue. if this does not work you need a tech to look at it

I understand that you had System Mechanic 7 installed on your computer, but it has since been uninstalled or deleted, correct? Did you have the standard version or the professional version?
