SOURCE: Good Morning, I

Hi,
I have seen many complaints about those things come to FixYa...It seems that the wire that makes the heat either becomes disconnected or breaks...as far as I can tell there is no fixing or replacement for that.
Wish that I could give you better news.....:-(

Panasonic microwave combi oven model nn a772 sbbpq. I set the microwave for 12 minutes but forgot to put the meal in. It now works for a few seconds then stops. Any help would be appreciated

A thermal cutout on many ovens is black with two terminals. It's usually held in place by a bracket and one or two screws. Many ovens now use a thermistor instead of a cutout on the magnetron.

Based on the symptoms you describe, it seems unlikely either would be the cause of the problem. If a microwave is run empty, the magnetron will draw excessive current. The excessive current can take out the magnetron, high voltage rectifier, high voltage capacitor, fuse, or a few other components. If this is an inverter oven, check for a fault code of "H98" or something similar. That would indicate a problem with the inverter board, or something else in the high voltage circuit.

How do I freeze crayfish, raw and cooked for 6 weeks that it does not dry out?

If 6 weeks old throw it out. If you mean you want to keep for six weeks, put in double plastic freezer bag and suck all air out with a straw and seal tightly.

What is the probable cause of the fan turning itself on?

To diagnose i would check if the fan "always" turns on in the start of microwaving a meal? and or if it gets hot and then "always" turns off at a certain time?

if it always turns on and then turns off at a time such as 30 seconds, probably getting hot and over heating - replace fan motor

if it turns on for the first meal but then is off or on intermittenly probably a switch or wiring is loose.

I have Rival seal a meal VS104 and do NOT have the hose attachment. Also I need attachment to seal canning jars. Can you tell me diff between say VS104/VS 106 or 105?

You can click on this link to get parts for your product.

You may also want to check e-bay because you may be able to buy a whole system for the price of a retail part and use the used one to replace parts on your system as needed.

I need to replace the top that goes over the coffee bean holder on my Capresso 451 coffee machine. This is the old machine that grinds the beans and then makes the coffee. Where can I find this part

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, list of Dealers, for spare parts and service, and Installation Instructions as required.

Just Google the manufacturer's name and follow the links. Make certain you are directed to the manufacturer's web site as some search engines direct you to other sites and they charge for the information that is normally free of charge.

I hope this helps.

When we first turn on the microwave there is like a mini-explosion and a fiery spark, but after that the microwave goes through its cycle and cooks the food. But we are afraid to try it again.

pls do not use any aluminum or metal material INSIDE the microwave, this can cause the problem

I assumed, but pls consider the ff info...

Be sure to use nonmetal utensils in the microwave.

For microwave cooking, cut meats and vegetables in uniform sizes to make sure that they cook evenly.

Paper plates, cups, and napkins can be used in the microwave. But don't use foil-lined paper products, paper towels that include nylon or synthetic fibers, or newspaper.
When using plastic roasting or cooking bags in the microwave, discard the wire twist tie and use a plastic fastener or a piece of string instead.

To ensure that food cooks fully and evenly in the microwave oven, stir food and turn dishes periodically while they're cooking.
