Jammed multipay cd player - AMC Multimedia CD6b CD Player

On the front of most cd players there is a small hole. Straighten out a paper clip ,insert into hole and work in and out, this will open the player door.

Try disconnecting your battery and reconnecting it. This can reset any issues within cd player. Unless you have something jammed in your cd player, then try using another cd to partially insert into the player and when you hear the motor trying to pull cd in, remove it slowly. Sometimes if there is another cd jammed, it will release this way. WARNING! You may need a security code to enter into the cd player after reconnecting your battery. Make sure you check your cd player manual before disconnecting your battery. Good luck.

u will have to take cd player out and take it apart to get them out!

I'm not sure of any tried and true way of freeing a jammed cd's but one I've used before is: with the player on take another cd (preferably one you don't care about) and slide part of it (about an inch) into the player and under or over the jammed cd. While pushing on the eject button "wiggle" the cd your using as an lever up and down and and this may free up the jammed cd. I hope this helps. Good luck.

I have a 2002 honda accord with the 6 disc cd changer. I beleve the cd changer has jamed and have lost power to the CD player. When I press the CD button it wont recognise the player. Any suggestions

My CD player jammed while testing it during my test drive (2001 GT), and they offered to replace it.

I found out that all of them do it. When I eject my disc, and it jams. If you look into the slot, you can see the cd. It is just not quite aligned right. Use your fingers to tap (as hard as you can) on the front of the deck. It should knock the cd loose, and it will come out. Works every time for me. Don't wait for the error to come up, as soon as you notice it didn't come out, do it, and it should eject just fine.

try taking out the fuse to let the cd player reset itself. It worked for me.

You can fixed the alignment of the disk tray of the CD player. But its pretty cool if the repairman in your nearest location would you let do the job.
