Question about SIIG Computers & Internet
Access Device Manager and locate and double-click on Ports (COM & LPT). Right-click on the system's parallel printer port, and select the Properties command. Click the Resources tab and deselect the Use Automatic Settings check box. This enables the Setting Based On dropdown list, allowing you to choose a setting that matches the system's BIOS configuration. As you do so, keep an eye on the Conflicting device list box at the bottom of the Resources tab; you don't want to create other problems in the process.

SIIG has a DOS driver on their site http://www.siig.com/download (CB10xsu.exe, this is for my hardware version 3.0) that allows you to change settings like hardware address and mode. another utility,CB10xpc.exe, allows you to look at IRQ settings, but manual doesn't specifically say whether you can change it. It does however say that settings are automatically configured, and one could hope so, but looking at the way their support is laid out, there doesn't seem to be a lot of hope. You might find it easier to set your onboard LPT port settings and let this card default to what it wants to ...
