MY washer fills, sometimes stops without completing the wash, sometimes it shows a completed cycle but the clothes are too wet to dry, sometimes during a cycle it will turn off with the door locked.

Sounds like a draining problem - Check the drain filter isnt blocked, if fitted before doing anything else - remove the filter and clean it. Then, can you hear the drain pump running on the drain cycle (drum not moving but pump should be) - a chug chug chug noise and water should be flowing down the waste pipe. Door WILL lock if the machine is full of water or is slow to drain - to prevent floods. Do NOT force the door open without draining - you will only break the door handle.
If water not flowing on drain - and filter clear - may be blocked pipe, sock stuck in sump hose - coin or counter flipped on edge in a pipe and blocking it - something like any of the above. Clothes too wet to dry is classic partially blocked drain pipe symptom - or spin aborted as drum out of balance.

Lg wm2277 does not drain or spin

if it does not drain it will not spin humming noise is probably something jammed in the drain pump if youre machine has a clean out you can access the inlet to the pump and clean out the debris from there if not you will have to pull the hose off . if you bail as much water as you can from the tub and tilt the machine back at a good angle it will be possible to get to the pump without having to get a shop vac to clean up the water after words.

How to clean drain tube at the bottom of the refrigerator?

Sub zero drains dont usually cause a cooling problem. You could be having that drip because its not cooling enough. Check to make sure both doors close completely, check light switches-do the lights turn off? You will have two or three fans on this unit, one by the compressor, one in the freezer, and possibly one in the fresh food section.

Have a 91 blazer that would not start without a jump. Bought a brand new battery 2 days ago, started yesterday no problem this morning would not turn over. Lights and radio are on. Could it be something...

Absolutely, those starters will start making connections internally when worn out. There by draining your battery.Another thing is oil,if the starter starts soaking up the stuff the oil will make electrical connections all by itself.Try cleaning it with brake clean or starter fluid, probably take a couple cans to get it clean but it might work. Now this stuff is highly volatile and not good to breathe so you'll need good ventilation. The area should be free of cleaners before start up (FIRE!),this will give you plenty of time for charging up the battery. This is a temporary fix, repair the leaking valve cover and replace the starter before it melts down completely.Good luck!

Water backs up through the fixture on my countrt top, during the rinse cycle?

Hello, That device is called the "air-break" connection. What you need to do is remove the cover, it will come off if you twist it side-to-side while pulling it straight up and off.

Once you get it off, you'll need to clean out the gunk (that's a technical term for the stuff you find inside these things) so that there isn't any obstructions that would divert the water coming out of your dishwasher.

The air break provides a safe way to discharge and drain your dishwasher without allowing any water from your sink to flow back into the dishwasher, which would contaminate it and your clean dishes. The air break is a back-flow prevention device and it will get gunked up with residue after months or years of use.

You can also pour some hot water slowly down into the air-break to help loosen any gunk you can't get at. But try to clean it out as best as possible and wash off any stuff inside the cover and the screens (some air breaks do or don't have screens in them).

This should allow the dishwasher to drain better and properly without having water flood out onto the sink top when it's draining.

I hope you find this Very Helfpul and best regards!

Dishwasher is not fully draining? do i need a plumber or dishwasher repair person?

without knowing your model, most times you do not need a repair man
or a plumber, your diagnosis leads me to believe that you may have a clogged drain or sump
if you open up the bottom motor area, you should be able to access the sump area and clear the drain area.....
if your interested, you can look up the break down for your model on
just type in your model number look in the motror pump section

hope this help
but you can do it your self,,, its probably just needs to be clean

Hi, I washed a candle, yes candle, in my daughters brand new lg dishwasher and now it doesnt work. Surprising i know. After spending days tearing it apart and removing all the wax out of the inside as well...

The problem is that when you ran a wash cycle.. the heater came on and melted the candle and some wax probably ended up in your pump or hoses in/out of that pump.. Since you did not provide a specific model number, I cannot provide specific details on how to dismantle everything but here is a link that you can get service manuals etc for LG products. Hopefully, yours is listed there and the details will be clear enough for you to clean everything up and get water draining again.
You might also find a detergent ( I am thinking liguid plummer or something ) that might break up any wax residue without having to open everything up to clean it.. Good luck and hope this helps you...
