SOURCE: on the unit model/serial# tag there is three

Compressor LRA ( locked rotor amps)meaning that if you hold that rotor and do not allow it to turn, it would draw that many amps.
Compressor RLA (rated load amps) meaning the amps the compressor will draw at a certain outdoor temperature usssually 95°.
Fan FLA (Full load amps) meaning that's the maximum amps the motor will run at continuosly.

42 LRA what ton

LRA is locked rotor amps. Likely referring to your compressor. If i had to guess i would say 1.5 ton because 42 is not much. You mostly need model number to determine capacity.

LRA how to convert in tonage so 10 LRA How many ton and 145 LRA Copland scroll compressor tonage value pleas give me answer

LRA on the data tag stands for "locked rotor amps" and has nothing to do with tonnage. In the model # there should be a number to use. And divide that # by 12 (12,000 btu/ton). So if I had a PFG24H200 it would be the "24"and a 2 ton unit

Replaced starting components (relay was burned out). Compressor starts and runs ok but only for about 15 seconds then cycles off by the t-stat. Starts again in about 45 seconds and shuts down again. ...

Ok so in this case the most likely reason the relay burnt out is because the compressor is tight and having problems starting so it burnt relay. Need to determine what LRA (locked rotor amps) is by looking on data plate on compressor and see if amp draw is at or very near the LRA spec. if it is the compressor is bad

What is the difrent between LRA and BTU ?

One really has not much to do with the other directly

BTU - British Thermal Unit.- A heat measuring unit. IE:12,000 BTU (British Thermal Unit.) The amount of heat required to melt one ton of ice.

LRA - Lock Rotor Ampere-LRA is nothing but locked rotor current , generally it is located on compressors name plate, when ever pistons locked at a particular position the rotor does not move further at the time rotor draws large current, that current is located on name plate, by seeing that LRA we can know compressor rotor was locked

Humming

A hum followed by a click sound is an indication of a failure at the compressor. Possibly the compressor motor has gone into a locked rotor condition. A locked rotor condition can be checked using an ammeter. The name plate on the compressor will have a rating after LRA. If the ammeter reading is equal to the LRA rating the compressor is done. If it is a reading of about 80% of the LRA (locked rotor amperage) it is possible that a relay or capacitor has failed which is replaceable.
