Question about Gateway MX3560 Notebook

1 Answer

I have a gateway notebook MX3560, and it started running slow a couple days ago. Yesterday, after initial startup and entering my password to get into windows, it is locked up, and just shows my wallpaper. I have tried restarting several times, and I can't even start in safe mode(F8)...nothing happens. At this point it says "windows is starting up..."

Few possible things could cause this..

corrupted/malicious file(s) will do this..

An Out Dated or Expired NORTON or McAfee will also sometimes cause this...

A windows update can cause this.. as it will sometimes install or replace drivers/updates that you don't need...

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Reset your router using the red reset button in back of the router. Let everything startup and test it. If the problem persists, then you might have to call your ISP or replace the router itself.

My pc speed is too slow. sometime it hag very much .please i request you to give mesome solution

Slow Windows Machine! Sounds like not enough resources such as RAM and CPU. Check Performance in Task-Manager (CTRL-ALT-DELETE). Try disabling startup programs. Go to Start > Run (search in Win 7) and type MSConfig. Startup tab and uncheck anything that you don't want Windows to load automatically. It will make Windows boot faster and use less resources while running. This just disables them in startup. Programs will still load, but when only you initiate.

I forgot my password to log on to my gateway laptop model # mx3560

Try loading computer in safe mode. You can do this by repeatedly pressing F8 upon start up it will take you to an advanced options menu. Within there select safe mode by using arrows to navigate up and down. Then press enter when safe mode is highlighted. When it loads it will look alot different DONT FREAK OUT! :) Then there will be a couple of user accounts u can try logging into them and leaving the password field blank. Some times there are accounts w/o a password and will allow access into computer. From there you can create a new password within the control panel & user accounts

My Gateway laptop that I purchased two years ago has stopped working all of a sudden yesterday. I was on it and had to restart it a couple of times yesterday and then finally when I went to turn it back...

I reccommend you open the laptop and remove the bios battery. this is a small flat round shape battery, leave out of the machine for 20 minutes, then insert it again and power on the laptop. :)
