Question about Minolta EP4000/5000 CS/PRO Copier

1 Answer

Hi, We have a Di3010 copier which we need to get into the administrator area to set up a new user password. Unfortunately, the password someone has written down is wrong and so we cannot get into the administrator section. Any ideas how we can either reset this password or how to get in?

There are 2 possible default passwords that may work. Try these first and if they do not work let me know. Then I will have to walk you thru the service mode entry procedure and instruct you how to change the admin password.
The 2 default password possibilities are 12345678 and 00000000
Let me know if these do not work.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

How do I reset the password on the windows 7 home page

Windows has a built-in security system that requires a user to type in a password to get to his personal account.
Only an "Administrator" account holder can make software changes to the computer.
All other users, including Guest users, need the permission of an Administrator to make any system changes.
However, if you have a guest account and need to access the Administrator account to make changes, you can do so via the Command Prompt feature.
Log in to your Guest account in Windows.
Go to "Start" > "Search" and type in "windows/system32/cmd.exe" to find the Command Prompt feature.
When the file appears on the search menu, drag it to your desktop.
Leave the search window open.

Right-click the cmd.exe file on your desktop and choose "Rename."
Type "sethc.exe" for the new name and click on an empty area next to the file name to save the new name.
Right-click on the "sethc.exe" file and click on "Copy."
Go back to the open "windows/system32" folder and right-click anywhere in the folder.
Select "Paste" to put the "sethc.exe" file inside.
Choose "Yes" when asked if you want to overwrite the current file.
Go to "Start" > "Log Off." It will bring you back to the User Account menu.
Press the "Shift" key 5 times in a row.
The Command Prompt will open.
Type "net user administrator [password]" and insert a new password in the [password] section.
Press "Enter" to set your new password.
It will bring you back to the User Accounts menu.
Click on the Administrator User Account and type the password you just set to log in to the account.

Hi

do you have another user on the laptop that is also a administrator
if so sign in with that account and go to user accounts and alter/delete the other account

if not

then try this

restart laptop pressing F8 at the same time
this should take you to repair options page
go down and choose safe mode with networking
then when you are on the desktop
go to start
control panel
user accounts
and either alter or delete the problem account

i hope this has helped you

many thanks

I forgot password

Passwords are made to NOT be worked around.
However, You can try booting into Safe Mode but you may still need a password to enter your "User Account". In that case you should be able to log in under the default Administrator account. Unless you've changed that password as well, the default should be either admin or administrator. Once into safe mode you can create a new User account and make it an Administrator account.
Unfortunately anything that you had stored in "My Documents" is going to be inaccessable to the new User account.

Im trying to turn to computer on but when i do it say to enter a current password and i didnt put it there

Unfortunately, someone probably did change your settings. If not, the profile could have become corrupted and changed. Do you have more than one login for your computer? If so, log in as the Administrator and create a new profile user and transfer the files and programs over to it.

Fiinding and reseeting administrator password in windows vista

hi,

If you don't remember the administrator password then login to the user account who has administrator acess. After logging into that users account you would be able to change the Administrator password. After logging into user account follow this steps to change password.

Click start--> go to Run--> Type "compmgmt.msc" without inverted codes--> select "local users and groups" there you select "users" in right hand side you can see "Administrator" select that option "right click" there you will get an option as "Set password" select that and change a new password.

Thanks,

Forgotten passwrod to access user account

If you can log in as an administrator or someone with administrator rights you can open the documents folder for all users. If you need to make a new user. (if possible) and set it to administrator rights. Then log in under the new name and open "my computer" then open the folders as follows.
C:\>documents and settings>User>users documents

Does this help? If so please don't forget to rate the solution

TRYING TO CONNECT NEW PRINTER TO APPLEMACNOTEBOOK

the password it is asking for is probably the administrator password. If there is someone else that uses the computer also they may be set as the administrator and you probably have a normal user account.
YOu need to get the administrator password before you can install the printer. If this seems to be a normal problem for you then you should have yourself set as an administrator(control panel>user accounts))
Let me know if this helps with your problem and thanks for using FIxYa
