Question about Computers & Internet
I have a PC with Linux as a operating system and would like to connect to the internet using my Nokia E90 as a 3G modem. PC Suite does it on Windows.
Solution 1 answers the wrong question.
If you use say Ubuntu 8.10, plugging in the E90 results in a 'G3 modem' device appearing in the 'network manager'. Just select from the wizard provided - all I had to do after selecting country and carrier was change the 'APN' as the offered one was incorrect.
The phone appears as a USB serial device (/dev/ttyACM0) and emulates an AT compatible modem. The telephone carrier presents a PPP session after you dial a special code. (Usually *99#)
No other feature of 'PC Suite' mode works.
The above 'solution #1' is how to sync the calendar over bluetooth.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
