Hi Devoo,

I got your issue , in your dell laptop to turn on the wireless switch in your keyboard press the Function key Fn+F2 simultaneously
(Fn key is in left side of ur space bar, near Alt key) automatically your wireless switch will be turned on and you will be able to go online wireless .
I am sure this will work.

Thanks & Regards,
Prema

How to restore my xps m140 back to factory settings

Hello,
First of all, you'll need the discs that came with the computer. It contains the operating system, application and drivers for your system. If it did not, then you need to follow the instructions on the link below
Dell factory restore. Same instructions works for all dell computers.
Hope this helps

What Wireless modem will work in Dell's Inspirion XPS M140

Hi,

I recommend Netgear or Linksys wireless routers/modems.

They work with just about any ISP (internet service provider) and are very reliable.

Is the wireless120 Router compatible with dell

Yes it is very much compatible with your XPS M140 that transmits 802.11 b & g wireless connection. In which the Linksys WRT120N Router can accept a/b/g and N wireless connections.

I highly recommend this router if you want to use one.

Need drivers to run windows 98se on dell xps m140

Microsoft (and Dell) stopped supporting Windows 98 a few years ago -- it lasted for over TEN years! So, it is *NOT* likely that you will find drivers for any computer that was "designed for Windows 2000" or "designed for Windows XP" or "designed for Vista".

So, in general, it is a _bad_ idea to connect any computer running Windows 98 to the Internet -- Microsoft has issued many "security-fixes" in the 4 years after they stopped supporting Windows 98 and Windows ME.
