PAPER JAM PROBLEM Canon iR 2016 and in tray 1 when i use it it say no paper

Hi first, check the sensor clean it with alcohol if the problem persist you should change the paper takeup roller

hi . be sure there is no paper jam inside the machine . turn off and on if problem persist maybe some of the flag sensors maybe stuck.

Check for trapped sensor flag. here may be a scrap of paper holding one down.

Try this. Remove all the paper from trays and inspect for paper in corners or stuck under rollers.

If possible, give it a good blowout. and re-assamble.

Paper jam problem


Replace the paper pick up & paper feed & paper sep. rollers in the paper tray... Good Luck

Canon ir 2016 is asking paper size, while paper in tray are correct. what is the problem


It could be several errors.
1) do you have paper size senzor on paper tray set according the paper in?
2) It coud be that you have problem with paper pick up clutch
3) check the registration sensor flappers, door on the left of the tray flapper,...
4) try to clean the rollers
5) compare your paper lenght with some other paper manufactors

Canon ir 2016 digital copier


Are you living in the USA? The size A4 is the Europe size of paper to our letter size... You can try to take the paper tray out and look inside, for any paper jammed in the back of the paper tray area.

the heater section is the fuser you should be able to pull the tray out and then lift the door of the fuser
